The Classical Connection

The Classical Connection brings together the most loved songs of stage and screen, featuring three of Ireland’s premier performers from the world of Opera, Classical and Jazz. Hear virtuosic masterpieces, operatic favourites and songs from the silver screen. Tickets are available here.

Introducing the performers:

Niall O’Sullivan – Trumpet – Niall O’Sullivan has firmly established himself as one of the finest trumpet players of his generation.  His self – titled album of classical, jazz standards, contemporary pop and traditional Irish songs entered the Classical iTunes chart at no. 1 in Europe and his second release “Ballads” went straight to no. 1 in the Jazz charts. Niall O’Sullivan is a performing artist for Schilke trumpets exclusively.

Norah King – Mezzo Soprano – “Outstanding” and “radiant”, Norah has enchanted audiences across Europe and Asia in both operatic roles and concert performances.  From the National Concert Hall, Dublin to the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London to the Shanghai Hall Concert Hall, China, Norah has become one of the most exciting mezzo sopranos to emerge from Ireland in recent years.

Denice Doyle – Violinist – A multi prize winning violinist, Denice has wowed audiences across Ireland and Europe with her dazzling performances.  She has worked with artists including Josh Groban, Michael Buble and George Michael.  Denice works regularly on RTE television and radio.
